Initial Release
Vitals Lab is an AI-powered health monitoring application designed specifically for untrained caregivers of elderly individuals, such as family members, helpers, or relatives, who may struggle with health literacy and early detection of health deterioration.
In order to increase AI accessibility for the everyday caregiver, Vitals Lab eliminates the learning curve entirely. It is designed to be simple, instant, and familiar, requiring no onboarding, no manual data logging, and no technical expertise. The entire system is built on top of social media interfaces, allowing caregivers to interact with the AI effortlessly through chat groups they already use daily.
Goals and Functions:
How to Use the App:
Record a 5–10 second video of the elderly using the social media’s built-in camera tool.
The app automatically detects and analyzes vital signs.
Caregivers receive real-time feedback and summarized health trends.
All relevant stakeholders (family, helpers, friends) can get notified through integrated chat groups.
For medical visits, the app generates a clinical report without requiring extra effort from caregivers.
The project is Open Source!
