Recall-to-Inventory Bridge

Connect US CPSC recall evidence to the inventory workflow a retailer already uses.
Import a CSV/JSON stock snapshot, retrieve relevant CPSC candidates, investigate
selected evidence with native IRIS AI Hub, and return versioned advisories.
The existing ERP, WMS or POS retains authority over stock, sales and shipments.

Try it without a model API key

Start the documented isolated IRIS 109 profile. Load the synthetic ERP export,
preview/import its three records, review the public product search terms, retrieve
real CPSC candidates, select official evidence and export advisory JSON or CSV.
Optional periodic source checks repeat searches and refresh selected notices,
with changes and pending work shown in audit history. The host must remain running.
Candidates are review leads; a zero-result search never proves product safety.

On a different empty instance, the optional recorded AI course revalidates genuine
historical proposals. It clearly labels recorded validation and preserves original
run provenance. Its sale/ship buttons affect only a synthetic local consumer
simulator; imported snapshots cannot use those endpoints.

Actual Interoperability and AI Hub

One IRIS instance provides the Interoperability Production, native %AI.Agent,
Embedded Python, SQL persistence, authenticated REST and browser UI. The custom
inbound adapter schedules bounded recall audits. CPSC retrieval runs in a queued
source operation. The agent uses one scoped read-only tool; a separate operation
validates exact source quotes, inventory/source versions, manufacturing ranges,
component identity, generations and missing qualifiers before returning advice.

Fresh AI is opt-in. The verified provider is Gemini Free Tier with no linked
billing and no paid fallback. The default cap is five investigations per UTC day;
automatic reassessment adds a limit of one investigation per audit cycle. Current
assessments are reused, and unchanged failed inputs are not repeatedly retried.
Judges can supply their own supported provider key for live investigations.

Native message traces correlate run and audit-cycle IDs, scoped context hashes,
prompt/policy versions, model and provider-returned token usage. This implements
Community Opportunity DPI-I-689
for this business workflow. Provider-internal HTTP spans and retries are outside
the application's instrumentation.

Practical integration boundaries

CSV/JSON import supports detected aliases and explicit mapping, leading-zero text
identifiers, an all-or-nothing preview, idempotent capture IDs, stale-preview
rejection and source timestamp ordering. JSON/CSV feeds preserve external record
references, evidence versions, citations, missing fields and incomplete-audit
attention. The executable receiver creates a local human-review worklist.
The bridge has no external inventory writeback connector or action tool.

Reproduction and evidence

The current target is IRIS Community AI Hub 2027.1.0AI.109.0. Each installer
privately obtains the authorized EAP image and loads/retags it before building
the source with Docker Compose. EAP and derived Docker images are not distributed.

The verification record
distinguishes real CPSC retrieval, actual IRIS integration, two selected genuine
v7 DREO cases, historical v6 results and deterministic recorded-course validation.
The historical 154/v6 check matched 36/36 curated labels; 109/v6 matched 15/24,
with nine conservative extra reviews. These synthetic cases are not a population
accuracy estimate. The latest private source-free IPM archive installed 21 classes
and twelve source-matching Python modules on bare 109. Public-registry publication
and registry installation are tracked separately; they are not inferred from that test.

The evaluation is bounded to 100 inventory records, eight queries per search,
40 retrieved candidates and 40 selected notices. Full CPSC coverage, enterprise
catalogue synchronization, vendor-specific ERP connectors and other regulators
are outside this version. Original code uses MPL 2.0; CPSC information and
InterSystems software retain their own terms.
