an excellent 6* tool
  • I'm deeply impressed by this masterpiece package. I was rather skeptical at first.
  • But then I realized that it follows strictly the concept of online BACKUP
  • The 3 phase rollback of the journal is a guaranty for no loss and minimal exclusive run.
  • For testing, you have a Docker container with a clean build and execution.
  • The provided Unit Test is already a first impressive experience.
  • Then you can run your own test with your own globals
  • The speed advantage over BACKUP is that you move a limited set of related globals.
  • The limits and warnings are correct: GBLOCKCOPY is designed for local DBs !
  • it was a great experience to see this tool. CONGRATULATIONS !
