has clear limits
  • there is no docker for a demo
  • there is no IPM package
  • installation requires a lot of manual operation
    • check if %installdir%/dev/cpp is available
      • not be installed
      • missing in IRIS-community
    • check if you can compile C/C++
  • be ready to compile and move the compiled files
  • overall some serious hurdles
  • using package DotEnv is much easier
