Interesting use case of PEX with Java

Using OCR Java libraries to demonstrate the interest of Production EXtension (PEX) framework is a very powerful idea.

a surprising production experience
  • Installation and start of 2 docker containers show no issues
  • using the default directory for received files prevents troubles
  • OCR worked fine on a .pdf except for German äöüß ÄÖÜ which were "shaved"
  • I tried a picture of Dante's famous welcome that I had on my office door.  image.png
  • Lasciafe OIni Speranza, voi chentrate!   This was less impressive
