Very well developed application that took the place of SQuirreL on my VM. Very handy autocomplete feature.
I suggest it to both novice and more seasoned developers who want good working tools.

DBeaver was my first SQL approach and to this day I still use it as my main: easy tolearn, simple to use and complete!

I particularly appreciate the very broad support of database editors, in a wide variety of formats (SQL, Analytic, Graph, FullText, etc.).
With IRIS, the SQL format is highlighted here through the JDBC driver.

DBeaver was an instrumental tool in the DIOS training at InterSystems. It facilitated a better understanding of the SQL side of IRIS backend development. It has easy InterSystems IRIS compatibility as well as a number of other options.

Beyond this it is an easy to use database client that has a stellar UI. Would definitely recommend!

I really like this client. Easy to setup and works really well. Beware that by default it opens transaction and you need to configure it for autocommit or you need to remember that you need to manually commit the transaction
