InterSystems Ideas Waiting to be ImplementedEnergy Consumption Estimate Report Per Production / Business ComponentDo you know how much energy a production or even an individual business component uses? I haven't got a clue If intersystems could build a front end report that estimated the energy usage of a production/component based on the number of messages processed, the size of messages, how long they're stored for, the complexity/time taken for processing etc... Then end users could figure out how to optimise their own productions. If productions could send anonymous usage stats back to Intersystems you could then have comparative usage stats which would let you know if you're running an efficient production or not - based on averages for your industry/size production. End users can then ask themselves questions like: * Do I need to process all of the messages or can I filter them before they hit the energy heavy processor? * Can I tweak storage length? * Can I make any messages shorter if they don't need all the segments (HL7) * Can I set my production/component to sleep between certain hours R 3Votes0Comments | ||||||
